Working in India

HI everyone.

I've never been to India but it's been my dream for years. This december i want to make my dream come true but i only have 2 weeks to see everything. I have two cities in mind: Delhi and Chennai. What could i see around these cities that can fit in 2 weeks. Also..is there any festival in December?
I also want to get back to india next year and spend some months. Do you think it's possible to find a temp job somewhere? What could a young europeen woman do there? Is teaching English an option? If so , can anyone recommend a city or village?

One option would be to spend a week at Delhi and a week at Chennai - both are totally unique with respect to the culture. And if its going to be December, Chennai will be cool with not much of heat, but Delhi will be too cool...rather cold.

The other option is to spend the 2 weeks either in the north i.e Delhi or south totally.

There would not be a problem in finding a temp job ? Based on u'r visit of this 2 weeks you could best decide if you would like to choose a city southwards or north.

Enjoy the best of all,
Dibbi

I'm also wanting to do some temp work at the end of the year, probably in Bangalore. I've been onto google but not much luck, are you able to recommend a site or contact for both Ramodiciliegio and myself? I would like to do some call centre work and also thinking about teaching english.

To work in India you have to have a work permit/visa. You are not supposed to work while travelling in India on a tourist visa. Of course you can always volunteer with a NGO.
