How well does one westener survive in India, Goa, in wintertime and highseason, if she can afford to use max 46000rs per month?

No, this is not a troll.

I guess it would be most economical to rent an appartment far off the sea and use your feet and bus and cook for yourself, but I'd like the facilities that hotels and guesthouses offer, like laundry and meals, the security, and cleaning, changing of the sheats, for example. And I'd like to have at least 2 rooms, and a tv.
What would you suggest?
After all the living costs, would one have money for shopping and travelling around?

You can get a 1 Bedroom apartment with living room, kitchen and bathroom close to the beach for Rs 15,000/month. Fridge and TV come with the apartment along with furniture. Swimming pool is included.

A Honda scooter can be arranged for Rs 3000-4000/month. A maid servant who will come and do your cooking, laundry and cleaning will cost you about Rs 3000/month. She will also go and buy groceries for you.

You will be able to live very comfortably with a budget for Rs46,000/month.
