Lightbulb Travelling on an Indian Passport

This is what Wikipedia says (see below). Has anyone got any first hand info? My personal experience is that being resident in Western Europe, I can access the schengen area without further paperwork. However, to get to the UK (even on a transit flight) is a hassle because I need to get an appropriate visa from the UK embassy in Paris (I live in France)

I recently visited Tunisia - and got a visa from the consulate here itself. However, this visa was strictly valid for a week only (the length of my stay there)... :

Yes, my post does look like a fragment now that I have re-read it. Actually just wanted to get some info regarding travelling on an Indian passport :

What are the countries that one can travel to without a visa / or can avail a visa on arrival with an Indian passport ? Does anyone have any first hand info of foreign countries that they have visited under such schemes? Wikipedia does mention some exotic locales in the pacific ... but does anyone have any personal experience?
