TEFL Courses in India

Hi

Is anyone aware of any companies offering TEFL courses in India ?

Hi

The only TEFL courses I know that are run in India are at the British Council in Mumbai and Delhi. Next one in Mumbai is end of January. These courses are the month long CELTA courses which, as you may know, cost a snall fortune in UK; not sure about here. If you want to do a shorter introductory course, doing one in UK is your best bet. It really depends what you want to use it for. Where I am teaching at the mo. does not require a TEFL cert at all, but I would still recommend getting some kind of basic training, even if it is just a weekend.

Interesting. How did you find out about the Bristich Council courses ? Any idea where I can get more info ?
