Study in India- a few questions

I have been observing this forum with joy for a long time now, and although my problem might not fit in this forum perfectly, I hope to get some sort of advice

My family currently lives in Germany and we are planning to move back to our hometown Trivandrum, Kerala in the next years.
My son who was born in Germany will finish his school with his Abitur (the German equivalent to the 10+2 system in India or the British A-levels) next year. Since no one likes the idea to seperate our family, he wants to study in India, preferably in the south.

To get to my questions:
-Can anyone give me some information about universities/colleges which accomodate foreign student?

- He hasnt really decided yet what to study after school, but he is interested in the commerce field but as well as in the airline and tourism field. What degree would you suggest ? (Preferebly one where he can use his language proficiency as an advantage on the Indian job market: English, Malayalam,German and a bit French)

PS: Visa wont be a problem since we all hav OCI status.

I know its a bit long but I would really appreciate some advice

Thank you for the advice

Which course do you suggest? Is BBA+MBA or BBM+MBA recommendable?

Banking and finance is another field which can be useful (Deutsche Bank, etc.). Any one of them. But only if he gets admission in an excellent government or private college. There are so many fakes around now. Otherwise he could continue in Germany.

My wife wants to study Italian. I inquired here in Punjabi University's Department of Foreign Languages, they say that Italian Course isn't available with them. Where else?
Have you seen Jonathan Spollen? Missing in Rishikesh since February 3rd, 2012

Please look at the thread and help find Jonathan. You might have seen him or have some valuable clues.

We are currently planning to send applications to the Manipal University for the BBM course and another one to apply for the BBA course at the Christ University in Bangalore. I think that these two institutions are quite trusworthy.

Some online courses are free, and some are not. I have podcasts from itunes store (itunes.apple.com) for a handful of languages that are good for conversational and casual communications. I think Rosetta Stone is used by the US State Department, and maybe also Indian Foreign Service too.
