Resources For Jobs in Mumbai for Americans
Resources For Jobs in Mumbai for Americans
Hi,
Does anybody have an idea on sources to look for regarding companies based in Mumbai that an American can apply to for jobs/career? I am having trouble determining if postings on websites like Monster and Indeed are looking for Indian nationals specifically or if Americans (non-Indian) can/should apply. I am a little distrustful of sites besides the most well-known. I also know I could just compile a list of companies and go directly to their websites. I am just wondering if there is another way to go about it.
I will have my BA in Business/HR in December this year. Any other tips in general?
Thanks for any help you can give.

There is nothing special about americans in the job listings; It might be non-indian national thing. With most US Corporations outsourcing back office including HR, to India, I doubt that a fresh undergrad from US applying for an entry job, would be given salary appropriate/minimum to get an Employment visa.

I think that was for colleges for Amrikans..
so I am almost done with school now. Wondering if anyone has any new ideas about getting work for am American fresher with a BA in Business/HR?
Sorry if it seems a repeat, but yea that was for schools - I am still wanting to learn Hindi and Marathi as well..

What do you bring to the table as a fresh grad in a generic BA, that an Indian student in India would not be able to do ? There is a *meta-query* I detect in your quest
Why Hindi & Marathi ? Why not Arabic or Bhasa ? Remember with the Arab Spring sprouting everywhere, need for bilingual business/HR might be more useful in them countries.
