Real estate recommendation - Delhi

My wife and I are visiting Delhi next week to look at schools,accomodation etc bfore our move in July. Any recommendations for a real estate agent for apts, houses in South delhi area. Many thanks.

If you're looking for rental accomodation, you can avoid agents altogether. The newspapers are full of rental listings. You just need to identify the areas you're interested in and then start calling.

I remembering replying to some of your queries earlier. One way as suggested by soulfood is to go on your own. Pick up the dailies "Times of India" and "Hindustan Times" Saturday and Sunday Editions and go through the Property listings under "South Delhi".

Real Estate market is very unorganized in India. There are lot of small time operators. So be careful in your dealings. Dont pay any money or commission upfront. Notwithstanding that, there are some established names in the business. You can check their websites for clients, services etc before meeting them.
