2 BR UNFURNISHED Rental in Hiranandani

Any idea about going rates for unfurnished 2BR apartments (prefer high floor w/ balcony ) in Hiranandani?

Well for fully furnished around the galleria market [Hiranandani, powai] for a 2 or 3 BHK [1000 Sqft to 1800 Sqft] it would be in the range of Rs. 50 - 80 K
U cud also consider flats in Lakehomes, Nahar, Raheja's, they are cheaper than Hiranandani and they are just 10-15 mins walkable distance from the galleria market and offer pretty good ambience and facilities.

Thanks mumbaiguy. Thats what I had thought, but wanted to confirm - given that the property market has cooled a little bit of late.

Anyway seeing there were no real expat groups in there area I started my own

A group of us aged between 20 - 40 (couples & singles with no kids) usually get together a couple of times a week for dinner Sunday Brunch, go karting, movies, etc.

Most of our get togethers take place at short notice but our next planned event is a Sunday Brunch at the Renaissance Hotel on 10th May.

If your interested in joining us for brunch & meeting some new faces or receiving my email updates when ever we have something planned please PM me or leave a reply here with your email address so I can add you to my email group.

Cheers

New in Powai

Hello, I am Sid, living and working in Powai for the last 15 days.

Although, work keeps me busy for the week, I would love some company after hours and weekends. It would therefore be great to be a part of this group to make some new friends and generally share good times. My email id is sid.proothi@gmail.com. Please add me to the mailers. Thanks.

Hi,

This thread got me to join IndiaMike. I'm originally from India, but left when I was in my teens. Spent over a decade living in Singapore, Kingston (Canada), Sydney, Oxford and San Francisco. Back in Mumbai (Powai) for 4 months before taking off to Melbourne.

I guess that's too short a time to rediscover Mumbai, but figured a forum like this would probably give me a faster start, while making new friends!

Although it seems most activities organised are only in the near vicinity of Powai. Convenient, I guess, given the traffic scenario here, but the area itself seems limited in options. Or maybe I just haven't explored it well enough.

Cheers
Shariq
