Thanks mumbaiguy. Thats what I had thought, but wanted to confirm - given that the property market has cooled a little bit of late.

New in Powai
Hello, I am Sid, living and working in Powai for the last 15 days.
Although, work keeps me busy for the week, I would love some company after hours and weekends. It would therefore be great to be a part of this group to make some new friends and generally share good times. My email id is sid.proothi@gmail.com. Please add me to the mailers. Thanks.

This thread Goes so Inactivewhere is Gizmo, honeysoul and all of you guys
Hi,
This thread got me to join IndiaMike. I'm originally from India, but left when I was in my teens. Spent over a decade living in Singapore, Kingston (Canada), Sydney, Oxford and San Francisco. Back in Mumbai (Powai) for 4 months before taking off to Melbourne.
I guess that's too short a time to rediscover Mumbai, but figured a forum like this would probably give me a faster start, while making new friends!
Although it seems most activities organised are only in the near vicinity of Powai. Convenient, I guess, given the traffic scenario here, but the area itself seems limited in options. Or maybe I just haven't explored it well enough.
Cheers
