Police Clearance Certificate - Help Required

Hi All,

I was residing in Bahrain with my Family and recently moved to Kuwait. It took 2 months to complete my Work permit process and now I got the dependant visa for my wife.

Now, Kuwait has introduced new rule which requires Police clearance certificate(PCC) for Dependants also and my wife cannot travel without the PCC. My Wife has approached Indian Embassy in Bahrain and applied the PCC. They promised that the PCC will be issued in 4-5 working days. Since my wife's passport is issued in Chennai, Indian embassy told that the clearance has to come from chennai.

However, when following up daily Indian Embassy keep on saying that Chennai RPO has not responded back and this is the standard answer for past 2 weeks.

If anybody knows whom to ask about the status and expedite this process, please Help..

Got some one in Chennai ? Seeing from your post your wife has lived in chennai before moving with you to Bahrain. You have to make a request to the closest police station your wife lived in chennai or commissioner of chennai police. ie way they will check your wife details of her previous stay and criminal history before they issue a clean chit.
