Learning English in India?

Have any of you taken private english classes in India? Any of you, with some sort of teaching experience and university qualification, willing to provide one?

Scouting around for my girlfriend who speaks good french/german/dutch and very sweet but grammatically incorrect english. Unfortunately, given my severe learning disabilities in foreign languages (english is part of life), I cannot endeavor to pick up french or german.

I just need to ensure that when she is angry with me, she can make herself clear in quick short sentences (not sure that will ever happen, but still worth a try !!).

Assuming you find a school like that then depending on what part of India she learns, she may pick up the Indian accent too... but keep looking yevriday!

Waat about Caal center yinglish where they teach you a "neutral US-midwestern accent"? [is there such a thing?] If she joins up, the yinglish tuition will be free and a small stipend 'll be paid during the training period!!

No luck there too

Unfortunately, she works for the european division of a BPO. So, she speaks more of german and french and dutch at work!! And a lot of 'yinglish' with call center execs speaking their own brand of the language.

Yevriday

Just as Indojingai wrote yevriday for everyday, I wrote yinglish for English. Very heavy South Indian accent.

Yankee is also correct, but not what i meant.
