So what is the point of your questions 1 & 2 if divorce is final, and your case was dismissed

Well, they went all the way to my parents house, in another state. Told them that there is an arrest warrant on me and asked my whereabouts.

WTF would someone do that?

Hello ramki_4us,

I was going through your post and my wife has similar situation as you had in 2009. She has applied for PCC a week ago and hasn't had a response yet from the consulate in Birmingham.

Please can you tell me what happened to your PCC? How soon did you receive it. I have tried calling the consulate but it goes on to the answering machine.

Many thanks

Regarding PCC for The Netherlands

Walk into the Commissioner's office. They probably have single window which takes care of all these things. You have to take 2 copies of the following:
1. Copies of your passport.
2. Copies of your address proof (driver's license, election card)
3. Letter that states you have to get fingers print done (you can download the fingerprint instructions from FBI site).
4. Request letter from DIAC for PCC from FBI.
5. A cover letter stating the reason you are obtaining the finger prints.
Remember all 2 copies. And tell them which is your area police station. Also take a copy of FD-258 form and tell them that FBI requires fp in this format.

These people will forward the request to your area police station or will guide you wherever the fingers print is done. If the request is forwarded, you will have to visit the local cops after 2 days for taking the prints. the next day the cops will send the report to Commissioner's office. You can collect it from here the next day. This is how it works in Bangalore. I submitted mine yesterday.
It requires a little expertise as FBI might reject if the prints are smudged or lacks clarity. So get it done by the experts in the department.

If you are adviced to get it done by the CBI or CID office, you may visit them with the above documents as well. Would advice you to visit the Commissioner's Office first. Hope that helps.
Hi,

Hello,

I was in the Netherlands for 13 months and I need to get the PCC done for the Netherlands so that I can apply for Australian visa 190. I also need PCC from India as well since I am citizen of India.

I currently live in Bangalore for the past 11 months. I have my passport issued from Mumbai so do I have to get my PCC done from Bangalore or do I have to get PCC done from Mumbai (on my passport Mumbai address is mentioned)

Can you please provide me with the procedure on how to get the PCC done for India and Netherlands?

Thanks.

JB
