Do you need a driver?

I've been here for two months in Bangalore. I hired an excellent driver. Now I'm starting to drive myself and would like to find him a good job. He's very trustworthy and knows the streets well. He charges 5000 rps per MONTH!!! That's $110 to drive you around 10 hours per day, 6 days a week!!!!

Very worth it if you're new. You need your own car.

I amjust getting ready to move. Have lots of things tofigure out yet. I"ll be living in Bangalore. I get company transportation to and from work (Dell Tech Center) any advise on driving, apartments, expected wages (my contract says 30,000rs paid once a month work is M-F 8-5 seems like a good deal can you enlighten me on $$ amounts averages This job is teaching english and business, technical writing to Dell employees probably in call centers thanks good luck

I am from St Louis, and I'm in cochin for 3 months. I rented a house here, and found that they prefered to rent a house to a foreigner over a local family.
