Car + Driver

Hi again,

I've finally arrived.
Do you know how much is having a driver with total disponibility? Recomendations? Preferb. living in Noida.

I'm also looking for a nice place in New Friends Colony, could u recommend me a good and trustful real estate agent?

driver cost varies between 4k to 5.5K. Not too sure about Noida, I am new as well, stay in Gurgaon, here it costs around 5.5k for a good guy. When you take one do make sure you take him on a proper test drive. Drivers are easily available, but good ones are difficult to come by as self and soem of my friends are finding out......

5.5K should get a driver for a day to travel a major distance, such as Delhi to Agra and back. If they catch the fact you are a Westerner, the price will of course be higher.

Within a city, a driver should cost between about 500 to 1000rs, depending on your negotiating skills. That gets a guy to drive you about for 4 hours, assuming not that large distances.

in 10 k per month u should be able to get a good driver for 20-25 days a month, with one weekly off! let me know if u need anything in noida...i live here!

There are some private operators or vehicle owners who let out their cars for long term rentals, these are better than many of the taxi operators who are more focussed on the short -term rentals.

Rs. 10, 000 is an approximate figure for a driver + car ( fuel costs are to be borne by the customer), these costs would generally cover 20-24 days a month, arangements can be made if the customer wants the car for weekends. There may be a limit on the number of kilometers you can cover in a month ( approx 1000-1200kms), outstation trips are excluded, but again arrangements can usually be made.

The above figure should be able to get you a decent mid-sized car by Indian standards, ( of course with air-conditioning

You could add about rs 2000 for the same service in delhi/ ncr

HI i am staying in south delhi and paying 18k for car + driver + petrol all included. and they give me 2400 KM a month so the whole deal is pretty ok for me. Car is TATA INDICA

yah heard from a lot of people Bangalore is an expensive place to stay in INdia.
