Business in Kerala

Hi,

Has anyone any experience of doing business in Kerala ? I'm thinking of financing a venture with an Indian businessman in the tourist industry.

Thanks.

unless you can really trust your indian business partner, I would advice you to stay away from getting into any business relationship.

Hi

I do know that there are many businessmen in Kerala and Keralites are enterprising. However, I hope that you know that it is a state that elects communist governmets. So the trade/labor unions are very strong and you should nkow about it before you venture.

All the Best

True.. But the justice system in India provides ineffective legal recourse if things were to go sour. Benarasi is right. their is a saying that Keralites are really hard working when they are outside their state, but when they are in kerala, they are hardly working.
