And further if it has the designation "RS4" after that - it will eat every other car on the road alive....
Including autorikshaws?

I would say it depends on the model or category, otherwise Merc, BMW and Audi are equals.

no no....rikshaws are supreme! Quality wise they are all great - but audi is a niche car whereas merc and bemer are more mainstream (if there is such a thing for luxury cars and the the ridiculous amount of money you pay). The audi quattro RS4 avant still holds the record for the worlds fastest wagon I think - (twin turbo, 2.6 litre AWD generating 380 hp). The engine is limited I think to 155mph (340kph). And of course the original quattro changed the face of motorsport for ever when it was introduced.

1 mile = 1.6 Kilometers which would put the figure at 248 Kmph not 340...

Well, if there is one thing Britain's don't rush to India for --- it's buying a car!

Anything imported is far more expensive than it is in UK, let alone anywhere else in Europe, due to the huge tax.

Skoda has priced itself to pretend that it is VW, and maintenance costs are like European costs.

Tata and Maruti offer value for money, but on a built-to-price car. At least Maruti has pretty good service, and it is hard to move without tripping over a Maruti service station.

Second-hand cars are over-priced.

I thought Bugatti Veyron was the world's fastest car; so googled and found that it has been beaten by SSC Ultimate Aero TT (413km/h). Audi Quattro is a classic.

Definately not for a BMW or a Merc but I'd love one of those Nano's. It'd be great fun driving round town.

oh yeah - the Bugatti is the fastest (or so I thought until your post above). The quattro RS4 avant held the title of the fastest wagon (don't know if it still does). I think the latest variant is the B7.
