As a wine gourmet and a guy grown up in the south west of France, I completely agree with dillichaat. The taste of Indian wine is just scandalous.
Even the Sula Dindori Reserve Shiraz and the Grover La Reserve that I have tasted few weeks ago are disappointing. By the way, some people explain me that the Grover was quite good few years ago but since the change of the person in charge of the wine making process, the taste became to get bad.

I don't expect India to provide wine as good as Australia, Italia, etc. but add to the extreme poor quality of the domestic wine, when I see that the massive tax applied the foreign product make their price 4 or 5 times higher than in the country of origin, I just think it's unfair.
