Att : Delhites.. Apartment rentals in Delhi?
HI all.
Namaste...Kaise ap?. i have been renting a serviced apartment from some friends out in Vasant vihar, new Delhi, the past few years, or staying extensively in various Delhi hotels long-term, but this year would like to relocate to a more central location......I am kind of tired of living out there in that south neighborhood, (although very nice) and would both like a change, and a more central location...I do not need a serviced place, and would consider paying guest, sublet, share apartment of family home, as long as there is privacy!! kiitchen, tv, phone line, etc.... I prefer to live in either Defense colony, Sundar NAGAR, jOR bARGH, or the likes, etc..my budget is flexible, depending on situation...does anybody out there, dilliwallahs, have any tips or suggestions or contacts of how to find a place in one of these locales, or better yet, have a place, ha ha.. I would need a home from october-april, approx....much appreciations.. namaste, bonita..

Sunder Nagar and Jor Bagh both have a number of guest houses where you can negotiate a long stay arrangement. For paying guest type arrangement you need a broker who specializes in that. Defence Colony has a number of them. Sorry - nothing more specific for you.

HI hobbes.thanx for the suggestion,
but actually i have already checked out most of the guest houses in sundar NAGAR as i love the area, like Shervani fort view, La sangrita, Jucasco Inn etc, and they are lovely but very expensive. i had even stayed before at sheravani fort view! they do a pretty good BRISK bizness and they are not big on HUGE discounts even with my charming hindi!. works out way to costly for long term!..they are quite costly places to stay these days, though a lovely choice if ya want to be in a green Delhi negihborhood, and there prices for one night are definately seriously mid-range, about $40-50 these days,(ouch!) YEA, jor bargh area would be more negoitable, so i can go back there and again do the rounds...however,.i am seeking more of an apartment situation, with kitchen, living room, oh, and balcony! etc, as i will be both living and working..but thanx, and if ya come up with any contacts, let me know appreciate it..... i will keep the search up, and i am sure i will find something once i get to town...i will certainley simply stroll around the neighborhoods, asking around and i am sure something will come up...god-willing..anyways, if anyone knows a property agent in either of the locales or a payig guest scheme, please let me know..thanx again.. ![]() |

Why don't u post on this site if anyone is willing to share a 2 bedroom apartment - you will have much more choice (as 1 bedrooms are normally only the top floors of bungalows and those also are no longer common since people build the entire top floor) and may be more cost effective in these areas.
