Anyone use this website to sell, wanted column, ...etc

I came across this website as I am thinking about hiring the services of a driver, housemaid etc. as I move to Mumbai.
http://mumbai.kijiji.in/c-SelectCategory

Q. What is Kijiji?
A. Kijiji is a free, simple, easy-to-use classifieds website that helps you meet your local needs and build local communities.
Q. How does Kijiji help you?
A. Kijiji is a place where people in a city can meet, connect, help each other, share their thoughts and also trade.
Kijiji can help you in various ways: find an apartment to rent , look for a job, buy a car, meet new people who share your interests, and advertise community events such as art exhibitions or music concerts and lot more. All this as per the User Terms and Policies of the site.

I would appreciate knowing if any IMers have experience with this site, or really any tips / tricks? to sharing "expertise" of how one goes about finding "help" in Mumbai?

Does anyone know of employment agencies that "screen" and provide housemaids, drivers? p/t help in Mumbai North (Andheri etc)? Aadil? Navinkurian ?.....help!!

The little search I did on IM tells me, the best way is to talk to neighbours, to others in the area, find someone sort of word of mouth....probably the best way of getting "help".

Please share your experiences.....one more thing to learn, GoanGoangone, GoanCanuck, NickH....how can you guys call this retirement...I am working harder than at work..... ....kidding, Ok !

The big, established site with print editions as well is Sulekha Indian Yellow Pages

It is certainly better to get staff by personal recommendation if you can. I haven't seen any for a while, maybe the agencies here have tightened up, but there were regular newsitems about 'screened' staff disappearing with stolen items.

I don't find all this stuff hard work at all! It just seems to happen all by itself.

Or... wait! Perhaps Mrs N has something to do with it!
