Smile Any Americans working for Indian companies?

Hi everyone. Are any of you Americans working in India for Indian companies? like Infosys?

I heard Indian companies like Infosys are recruiting in the States now and I wonder if anyone did something like this and had a good experience with it.

Let me know! and thanks!

I don't know either. I spoke with the Romanian and she told me that she applied at our office in Hungary, went through an interview process and was recruited. There was no mention of any language skills or anything like that; she was just interviewed for technical skills. She is being paid an "Indian" salary, not an expat one. Why the company felt the need, I don't know. Perhaps to have a cross-cultural workforce?

If you work for Wipro, they plan to open an BPO office in Romania. Other companies may be planning also - given that Romanins are willing to work for Indian salaries. It makes to train a core set of employees in India and send them back home.

Number of skilled people that industry requires on a yearly basis is several times the number of people who actually graduate on yearly basis.

There will be a serious crunch of manpower in coming years and companies are feeling the pressure from today itself..

That is the reason they recruit people from outside India...
