Outlook Traveller's Weekend Breaks From Hyderabad, http://traveller.outlookindia.com/bookhome.aspx, is listed as being out of stock, but you'll probably find it on sale still on the ground in large cities in India, if you can't find it where you live. It's a good series.

Sash (and Kewl), I don't know if the Nelles Maps are available in India, but they include tourist pointers on their (detailed) maps. If you could find the one covering your region (they have a couple for India), it would show a substantial number of parks if there are any (there likely will be), as well as again other places of interest, too, many of which you'd have a hard time finding in any guidebooks. http://www.nelles-verlag.de/cms.php/1759/0/0/1/0/0.
See, btw, also this extensive list of national parks at Wikipedia for instance: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_parks_of_India. |
