As a local Hyderabadi guys who had the GREAT Hyderabad biryani as dinner for almost 5 years( all over Hyderabad) before leaving to abroad ..i recommend only one non-fancy hotel called GRAND hotel(no hotel rooms only Biryani place) very near to Nampalli railway station.
There is no 2 ways about it. They serve the the BEST Biryani They serve the BEST biryani in all of Hyderabad. You can ask for double DUM masala if you like more spicy biryani. If you are interested, ask me i can tell you some very interesting stories about this place and the verities of biryani they serve. |

somebody mentione Four seasons restaurant here, last time i was in hyd,my cousins took me there and Biryani was very good interms of taste/rice quality and cleanliness/ambiance etc.
This place is not as big as Paradise, but better biyani..atleast for me. You can say one of the best places for biyani now a days in Hyd. |

Sorry folks couldn't go to The Pride of Hyderabad restaurant, the lunch buffet at Taj Banjara floored me.
For Rs.1000/- a huge buffet spread with unlimited wine and other beverages it was a steal!!!! Or rather a loot. Started off with a glass of cold Australian white and very fresh green Mussels, Clams and Oyesters, moved on to a great salad with very fresh greens and prawns. But what did me in was the succulent lamb chops fried fresh and brought to the table along with a robust red.... In spite of the big climb of Golconda fort and a few rums later in the night didn't feel like going for a spicey dinner so instead went to Fusion9 and had an excellent Pizza followed by a good cup of coffee at the Art Cafe right below. Today is another quest!!! |
