Khabura is a non veg paradise. There is another fancy place, I think called Our Place. For non-splurge Persis of course and for Indian Chinese but family atmosphere in the room to the right, Nanking. Biryani, I'll ask my brother in law since I just let him do the driving..

this may be dated but i remember touch having a ladies martini night on wednesdays...the place is so weird...all white. the food isn't so bad either...but the drinks are better. If you need to reminisce about a college atmosphere like club go to Sparks in the Lifestyle Building in Begumpet. Food wise...not quite up top but Chutney's is pretty good for Andhra food, as is Southern Spice.

Let me not forget to compliment the list writer for a considerable effort. Now shall we go for reviews..

Where is Khabura situated & what is their speciality? I had kidney masala at Paradise & liked it. Didn't have the time to try out Haleem, if any one knows about a joint which does this I would note it down for my next visit.

Haleem is available all year round at a small 'Irani Hotel' opposite the State Bank of Hyderabad, Gunfoundry,(Abids) hope it's still there (did see it last year) and not sure of the quality though.

High end restaurants should have it too.

our place is great, tho pretty fancy, like you said... i think it's just off rd no. 10, banjara hills.

the food is good (i only had indian but i'm guessing they have some other offerings too) but the main attraction for me is that it's a nice open outside space (you can even eat on the lawn!), stragely devoid of traffic noise/fumes.

all in all, a far superior experience to yer stuffy ac options...

also, i forgot to say... my favourite place is the taj mahal in secunderabad - on sarojini devi rd, just by the patni crossing. it's a restaurant/hotel (non-ac/non-family section recommended) that serves a wicked paneer biryani and chana masala. yum.

definitely deserves to be added to the list.

The best haleem in Hyderabad is the one a friend's wife makes.
I used to periodically and with calculation call to praise it, and then she felt obliged to send some over

The old city has a few okay places I have tried in the past... not since turning vegetarian sometime ago... but, the best haleem even then seemed to be available during Ramzan.

Hyderabadi's Gunfoundry place exists, and is so so, IMHO
