| What are you looking for in a dentist? Rephrased, can you elaborate 'lot to be desired'?

Well, the dentist 'offices' if they can be called that, in my area look like they are out of the 1800's. I'm not sure if they are real dentists, but the sign says 'dentist' and it's more of a shack with an open garage door than an office. I wouldn't take my dog there. I'm looking for a professional office of western standards. I am needing a cavity to be fixed, and I'd like to look into teeth whitening. I'm looking for the same thing in a dentist that you would probably look for in a dentist. Anyways, I hardly think this is a difficult question. If anybody out there has a dentist that they are happy with, let me know about them. Then I'll do the research.

I am PMg you the name and number of a dentist. He is competent, and not overpriced. You will not see Western standards of cleanliness or ambience, though he is clean enough and uses gloves, and his equipment is clean.

I don't know about dentures, but I ended up going to Apollo Dental Clinic and I'd recommend it to others. Got a wisdom tooth pulled for $60 I think, if I remember correctly and bleaching done for $200.

$200 for a bleach seems to be on the higher side. I would recommend Dr Srinivas Namineni at Medwin hospital.

8000 rupees for a bleach is exorbitant. I got my teeth bleached for 1200 rupees and it was quite a good job.
