Charminar - visitors

Hello guys,

can somebody tell me whether it's possible to enter Charminar and enjoy the view from the tower or not? I keep finding different information: some saying that for Rs.100 you can enjoy the panoramatic view, others that you can enter only with a special permission.

Thanks a lot!
Petra

..except the last I heard, (~2 months ago), it was closed because someone was pushed off.

Anyone know if it's re-opened by now?

I was introduced to 'Hallem' by the charminar yesterday night. Cost me 60 rupees with a free soda. It was similar to Camembert
