I plan to visit Delhi, Agra and Jaipur from Hyderabad for at-lest a week with family(2+2) for site seeing starting 5th august. I was wondering how to find a nice reasonably priced family hotel in the places i intend to visit. Also how to find good cost effective transportation that will take us places with out any hush-hush. Any trip planning ideas ?

Prepaid taxis worked best for me.
In Agra, the prepaid taxi stand is just outside the station and they have cost listed for using prepaid taxi for visits to different places, I believe it was 1400 for a days worth of trip. Also in Delhi, prepaid taxi is available, I would keep their phone number in handy. Delhi police operates them, readily available on IndiaMike and Google. Some of the hotels (3 stars and above charge extra for 4th person or will require you to reserve extra room) A good deal of pre-planning (stay, hotel, food/water etc.) will go a long way to make your trip smooth and enjoyable. |
