I am flying into Mumbai on October 3rd and Leaving Oct 30th. From the threads here, I am almost convinced to reroute trip from South to North to Mumbai, Kolkata to see the Durga Puja. I know its worth it, but it might be crazy to go back south from Kolkata. Are there any other places Durga Puja is celebrated in such flair?
My current flight schedule is Mumbai, Aurangababad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Cochin, mumbai, udipur, etc. Too much flying just to fit in the Kolkata Durga Puja, willing to do it, but want your opinions? thanks to all your threads so far on Durga Puja. |

If you are in India during 7th - 11th October, there is nothing else in India that is better than the Durga Puja celebrations in Kokata.
I would give up anything else to be in Kokata for those days. Thats how methinks, anyway. |
