Smile virgin visitor

First time for me on this newly discovered site. I am going to India for first time in May. On a tour of Agra, Gwalior etc.. and then on my own for a week. Hoping to go to Delhi and Varanassi.. also have a job interview in Hyderabad (if I can get there) Any help, advice welcome. Thanks.

welcome to this place & India lonely: few rooms which should get u in the frame of things are http://www.indiamike.com/india/forumdisplay.php?f=73 i.e. the yak yak stuff as well as http://www.indiamike.com/india/forumdisplay.php?f=8 as well as http://www.indiamike.com/india/forumdisplay.php?f=55 especially if u're a single white female travelling. Lots of practical advice given by some of the sisters here on the site.
On an itinerary mode wouldn't know where to start of. The only thing that does strike is May would be very hot in Agra, so fluids & all kinds of anti-malarial anti-bacterial shots. The afternoons are deadly that time of year when warm winds blow in the afternoon. Hyderabad is a fun place to be, I'm sure u'll enjoy it more for sure than Delhi, Varanassi is a like a slow drug, once addicted difficult to wear off can look in the forum. Hope that's helpful.
