Listen to another 'creative'(yet grammartically correct) use of English ! ....... Once, on a cross-ferry from Belgium to the UK, I happened to sit with a group of Germans who were eager to learn English. A girl, referring to separate H&C water taps on baths in England (as opposed to mixer taps), said "In England, the H&C taps are DIVORCED !" Later, she wanted to go to the toilet, but came back straightaway. On being questioned, she replied the toilet room was POSSESSED !

Today at the office I was asked to fill in a form--the form asked: "Who is the indenting manager?"

I am not convinced these definitions are correct, but one person said it means "who is the reporting manager" and another person told me it means "who is the hiring manager"...so you see that no one is actually sure!

My company also regularly 'prepones' meetings, and often requests 'updation' of personal details--so I see from earlier posts that we are not alone!
