| Recollection of my first arrival in India... ... just something vaguely funny came back to me as I read that post by jaz about security. I once lay on the floor at Delhi airport (as the seats were of the moulded variety), attached my backpack to the leg of the bench and laid my weary head on my bag to sleep. God knows why but the cleaning attendant chose to clean my corner of the deserted terminal building but so he did and pulled out the bench to sweep beneath. Away went my rucksac, pulled along by a length of 2 mm stainless steel wire, my head banging sharply on the tiled floor with quite a crack. I was so alone and scared anyway that I cast a bewildered smile at the cleaner who simply walked away trying not to laugh! |

| :-) I can't stand the way they 'CLEAN' the dustbins in front of all the visitors - spilling everything everywhere...and god! those paan stains are a shame! Have you read the sign at the escalator that reads 'ride at your own risk'? |
