Is lord Ganesha is computer?!

This idea is just a freaky comparison in mind and I like others to realise the vedic civilisation in ancient India.
Imagine..why the inventor of the computer thought of naming MOUSE ?!
It could have been any other techno name to such a fibre handle.
NO?
CPU...Keyboard..Monitor...then Why MOUSE? What was running in his head to give such a name?

The picture or idol of Lord Ganesha is incomplete without a MOUSE(real mouse of course). It is the BAHANA of the Lord.(Bahana is something of every god that communicates with them..as clik on a mouse communicates to the CPU)
In Hindu religion Lord Ganesha is the supereme as God of Knowledge and Information
We all know students in all ages and people in general pray him to for knowledge , wisdom. and information ( Age of information now)! Its the same thing that we want our our computers to perform.Isnt it?
To understand the symbolic ganesh as a top information manager..imagine..

Big head...CPU..storehouse of think tank and proccesing them.
Wide ears and small mouth..listen more and speak less(one more qulaity of a top management)
Big Fat Belly...Back up storage hardware system...knowledge database.
Trunk..Pokes on for more and more data and information collection.
:..the other one is complete..symbolises..both virtual and real field.

so the point here is that it might be a spiritual elevation for that inventor to call it a MOUSE may be in ignorance..did Ganesha was forced to his mind when he gave everything a HIS NAME..but not MOUSE?

Cheers its just an imagination.

Probably vahana - vehicle. Cos bahana in Hindi means 'excuse'.

Have you ever looked at your mouse? It looks like, erm, a mouse, doesn't it?

Maybe you need to get away from your computer for awhile, it seems it's turning into your god...

And not invented by microsoft.

Mr Doug Engelbart developed a "x-y position indicator." and got initially $10 000 for it. It was introduced into the mainstream with the Apple lisa.
Good news and possibly good karma http://www.cnn.com/TECH/9704/09/mouse.inventor

Anybody remember in "Star Trek IV," where the Enterprise goes back to 20th century San Francisco in order to save the whales? Scotty has to use a Mac and starts talking to it. Someone then instructs him to use the mouse, so he picks it like a radio and says, "Computarrh!"
