Hi,
A new indo/scottish single malt has been launched today.
"Amrut" is made from barley grown in the himalayan foothills, malted in Delhi and Jaipur and distilled and matured in Bangalore. So, almost the whole Indian Union is involved in the deal.

Mmmm...I am a Jack Daniels guy myself. The only thing I have drunk in India is beer (goes down easy in Indian weather). I should try this Indian malt when I am in India. Thanks for the info, Dude!

It is only spelt whisky if its made in Scotland
Whiskey covers everything else
Without the Scottish water it will never quite have the same quality
Yet to find a whiskey in India that I would buy ...Hopefully this may be better
