Which among these are the best honeymoon places to go.

Hello friends let me first thank you all for the wonderful suggestions you are putting on. I searched the web for many forums to get details in planing my honeymoon trip and finally found this forum as the best.

I am planing for a honeymoon by Jan last week for a 4-5 Days trip at the max.

I have a few places in my mind. Could you please help me in which will be the best during January end and February to visit.

1. Shimla - Manali
2. Nainital - Mussoorie
3. Goa

Please give your valuable suggestions. Even suggest any other places you feel better...

Of the places you mentioned I would choose Shimla over Mussoorie (Shimla is larger, and you have a wider choice of "good" hotels) ; and Goa over Shimla (resort/beach based). Please keep in mind the time of year -- it might be very cold in Shimla. I have not been to Manali.

One of the best places I have seen for a honeymoon is Ananda in the Himalayas (www.anandaspa.com). January is high season, with prices to match, but if you can swing it, it would be perfect. It is the only place of its kind in India.

Hey, first of all congratulations!

I agree with pinkyparker, Ananda is a wonderful place. It's precariously placed on the edge of a mountain and the views from there of Rishikesh & Haridwar are breath taking.

Apart from the places you mentioned, there is also Anadaman & Nicobar, its got some of the best beaches.

I feel for an honey moon the climate has to be warmer so that the climate energies your body and definetly not cooler places like simla, kullu, ooty etc., Goa will be a good option.
