Trip to MacleodGanj

Hi,

We are reaching Macleodganj on Aug 16th,2012 morning and we will be there till Aug19th evening(i.e 4 days).
Can you suggest what would be the best places to cover in these 4 days.Better if its more adventurous(no trekking).

Similarly search this forum, you will other reports also about Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. Read them and make a sample plan which could be refined.

I heard there is river rafting in chamba valley near dalhouise?Can anyone provide any contact if it is there?

I had written a detailed travelogue about my trip there. You may want to look it up along with quite a few others. Bhagsu falls is a bit of let down in my opinion

There isn't anything adventurous like white water rafting to do in McLeod Ganj. It's more of a walking/treking/relaxing kind of place. Why don't you start a new thread asking about adventure sports in Himachal or the Kangra Valley etc. I did see people paragliding near Dharamsala but paragliding is dangerous in a "you might never walk again or worse" kind of way.

Just came back from Mcleodganj on 12th morning. Had great time there. Stayed for 2 days. Went to Chintpurni, Jwalaji, Chamunda devi, bhagsu, mcleo market, norbulink and some more temple (monastries). Stayed in Naddi (Hotel snow crest) a very decent hotel with awesome view of dhauladhar.

Am not able to see the snaps. How did you upload them?

Manage attachment-> then uploaded my snaps -> then clicked Insert image and copied the URL (after clicking the hyperlinks of snaps).
Moderator has always told me to reload but i can view my snaps. n'ways if you can guide me then i will try to upload again
