Chandigarh to D/sala

There are plenty of buses to be had, large bus stations in Chandigarh. It's about an 8 hour ride as I recall. You can get the higher end Volvo bus or one of the government buses, the Volvo is more comfortable and is a better ride, but you can't open the windows. You'll have to ask which sector the bus station is located in for this particualr bus.

Good Luck!

Hi,
Please let me know if you know of Chandigarh to Dharamashala buses, I shall be taking the same route you mentioned, morning flight to Chandigarh and then head to Dharamashala immediately if possible and not in the overnight bus.
Thanks,
Namrata

All buses I know are all-nighters. I don't know about the day time buses. But it does not mean that they are not there.

I hope somebody comes along and gives you better info.

I see a 1130 bus from Chandigarh - Dharamshala at

http://www.hrtc.org.in/bus-timetable-una.php

How reliable these are? I cannot comment. You may call up Chandigarh ISBT and confirm. They are pretty prompt on picking up phone, as per my limited experience.
