Which is the best place to visit in Himachal Pradesh for a family in the Month of April. Looking for something unforgettable and full of Nature away from city life to relax the mind and enjoy the drive.

The rest house can be booked from the office of Executive Engineer at Kumarsain, contact no. 01782 - 205231. Just call them and you will need to give a request in writing preferably by postal mail.

Charges for tourists / non Himachalis last when I checked were Rs. 480/ per night.

Most welcome dear. PWD rest houses are the best bet for stay in Himachal pradesh. On the same trip, we stayed at PWD rest house at kasauli and paid Rs.250 for a room big enough for 3 persons and the room was with attached bath and with geyser also.

Any update on how to book the PWD rest house of narkanda/kumarsain?
And whether they cancel general public's bookings if there is any official visits by govt officers/ministers in these pwd rest houses?
