Temperature in Shimla early April?
Does anyone know what temps to expect in early April? Are sweaters and jackets necessary? I hope so. What about in Dharamsala?. I just want to make sure I pack the right gear, not too much of course.

The day-time temperature at Shimla will be in the early twenties, night-time 5 to 6 degrees lower. One sweater will be enough.
Dharamsala, being at a lower altitude than Shimla, will be warmer.

This is a very common question, and I have temperature questions too; the LP and RG have pages with the monthly temprature and rainfall statistics for a handful places, but is the any website that lists these for India, for more than a couple of cities?

I have about 10 days and I hope to spend about 5 days in Shimla and use it as a base. Then either Dharamsala or Manali

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know of a great hotel in Delhi that has a bit of history and a good garden?

Perhaps our friends on the forum, particularly the Delhites, can help. |

is there any website that will tell us how much the temp would be all year round. I might be going in early may so i'm thinking it would be around 70s or 80s right? Hopefully it won't warmer than that.
