Taxi From Manali to Kaza

Hey all,

we're 2 st

ners who are looking at heading from manali to kaza by a cab so we can stop and go as we please.

what's the price difference between a Sumo and an indica and etc etc? which is the most economical?

can anybody tell me how much this is going to cost us?

also should we head to kaza or kyelang? or do we have to pass one to get to the other? which is cheaper?

lastly, if you have contacts, as in phone numbers we can call and book?

AND

Porters in spiti for a trek, how much do they (with mules et al) charge? if it's daily how much? if it's for a trek, how much?

For Manali to kaza - you will only be able to hire an SUV. no travel agent will give an Indica for this route. rate will be 2000(also factor in the increase due to recent fuel price hike)per day.

Hi! If you rent your own jeep from Manali to Kaza the price is 6000 Rs,if you are lucky you can get a 500 Rs discount.An animal in Spiti will cost you around 200Rs per day and the man 300. Prices for the trek varies a bit,count on around 2500 per day.
