Is the road from Rekong Peo to Kaza open by mid-April?
And if there are only two of us, is it still possible to obtain an inner line permit with no fuss at Shimla or Rekong Peo? Thanks for your advices. |

In general, the road is open all year but it is often washed away during heavy rains or landslides. But you will have to return the same way since the road across Kunzum La and Rothang pass is closed at that time.
You can obtain inner line permit regardless how many you are. |
