| simla- manikaran me & my wife r plan'g to visit this route in nov 1st week in 09.simla- manikaran-kullu-naggar-manali-rohtang pass.is there any bus services in this route? or we have to hire car? what should be suitable car 4 us? is it possible to go there in this time without prior hotel book'g? 10 days ex-delhi possible? |

| is there any bus services in this route? or we have to hire car? Yes, Delhi to Shimla has Volvo service, rest of the journey by roadways buses which are frequent and abundant. Time tables are available on HPTDC/HRTC website. Hiring a car would be most comfortable but quite expensive vis-a-vis state run buses which are fairly cheap to travel in. what should be suitable car 4 us? Indica/Alto would be ok. Tavera/Qualis will be most comfortable. is it possible to go there in this time without prior hotel book'g? Yes and No. If looking at high-end to mid-range hotels, You should book beforehand. Otherwise cheap accomodation can be looked up and booked once you're at the respective places. 10 days ex-delhi possible? Yes. 10 days sounds good.
