shimla to manali?
hi all!!
whts the best way of going from shimla to manali? are there regular bus services from shimla to manali? at what time i would get the bus from shimla and how many hours run it is to reach from shimla to manali? kindly let me know thanks in advance, regards, |

The regular bus takes about 10 or 11 hours, and costs a little over Rs.200. It's not a comfortable trip, although the bus does make several refreshment/toilet stops. Not sure how many trips there are each day, but I got one at about 8am from Shimla. No need to book in advance - you're supposed to get a ticket from the ticket window at the bus station on the morning of departure but it's almost always easier just get on the bus and pay the conductor.
There might be faster, more comfortable Deluxe (2x2) buses that you could book in advance, or you could hire a long-distance taxi for about Rs2500. |
