Shimla to Manali - Day or Night? How to book hotel?

Hi,

We are planning to travel from simla to manali in the month of May and I want to travel in the night. If we travel in the night, do we miss any views?

How to book bus tickets for HP tourism buses?

Can I book the HP tourism hotels through online using credit card? Is it safe?

It depends on what you consider as 'views'

. For me going to hills means being on the road (in car/bus/cycle/walking) most of the time. The views of dense forests, flowing water, mountain peaks beyond some misty valleys ......well i could never have a fill of any of those. Shimla to Manali is a long way - but left to me, i would choose a day journey even though I may long for stopping every half an hour.

well, shimla to manali by road would eat up the whole day.
some views are good, but i believe not worth wasting a complete day. Plenty of better views in Manali and solang valley .... try to set the night bus.

Hi,

I checked the night buses and only ordinary buses are available. HPTC runs on luxury bus, that is only in the day time.
