Shimla summer festival

Hello,

We have heard that there is a festival in the first week of June in Shimla. But I can't seem to find anymore information on it. I did get an email address from the Himachal Pradesh tourism website but the email I send bounced back.

Does anyone know about this festival, whats happening and where?

We are staying in Shimla for 5 nights at the beginning of June.

Looks like it started last week and will be on for one month. I'm sure you will find some events to attend while you are there ...don't forget to pack your roller skates.

Hi,

Shimla Summer Festival begins on the 2nd June and Goes till 7th June 2007, Highl;ights are Shraya Shoshal, Miss Shimla Contest and A rock show on the 7th. The rest is local folk troupes from around the state everyday, The venue is the ridge, starts at 5 PM everyday, Tickets are available at DC office Shimla and at the tourism office on the scandal point ...

Thanks for the info, we are arriving in Shimla on the morning of Wednesday 6th June so we will catch the last 2 days of the festival hopefully.
