Sangla - Dharamshala

Hi,

Am planning on driving from Delhi to Sangla and would like to visit Dharamshala. Could some one please tell me the best route and the distance between Sangla and Dharamshala. Since I only have 7-8 days I'll not be able to cover Lahaul & Spiti on this trip. .Any advice on this sector would be greatly appreciated.

Delhi - Kalka - Shimla - Rampur - Wangtu - [ now the road has gone with the Pareechu floods ] ....... Sangla.

Its estimated that the road will be up by 1st September.... till then you have to walk to Sangla.

If the bus is running to Sangla it's a 12 hour bus ride between Sangla and Shimla, and another 12 hours to McLeod Ganj.
I did the two journey's over two days, and it was exhausting!
It is though, a spectacular bus journey.

The distance from Sangla - Shimla = 238Km
Sangla - Kullu = 267 Km

Shimla - Dharamsala = 280Km
Kullu - Dharamsala = 195Km
