See Killar is approchable by road from Chamba side & through Kyelong also, the more frequented road is from kyelong to Killar, along the chenab river
Other one is from Chamba via Sach Pass, which is motrable only form July end to Septemeber & is a lesser travelled road to Killar.
As per me Road to Killar via kyelong is not the shortest but a safer option for Killar.

In July 2006, we had driven till Udaipur from Keylong. Now we wish to drive the other way round... from Chamba. Is it metalled tar road or stony? Is a 4-wheel drive vehicle mandatory or a 2-wheel Bolero jeep would do? How much time (approx) does one take to reach Killar from Chamba?
