Hi! Both the roads to Kaza are open. But there are works in progress at Malling,so it happens that the way is temporarily blocked. Today it is open. Closures should not last for long time anyway.

1--you need minimum 10days to complete this trip.

2--place of stoppages are ---manali-- keylong----darcha---sarchu---pang----upsi---leh--

3---road condition will be ok in summer..

4---SX-4 is a good car with high ground clearence you can drive that car on manali leh road..

5---delhi to leh to delhi you need minimum 10-12 days---because ---1st day--delhi--manali(620km)

--2nd day--manali to leylong110km/sarchu220km(night stay)

--3rd day--keylong/sarchu--to leh---

--4th day rest and issue permit for pangong and nubra--

--5th day --6th and 7th and 8day for local leh ,,pangong lake,,nubra vally,,

---and 3 more days to come back to delhi with same route or you can come back via srinagar--

total journey is aroud 3000km from delhi to delhi with 10 to 12 days...

hey guys
read that HP got its first snowfall today....is it possible to visit kinnaur and spiti on 22nd december? please suggest possible place to stay in chitkul, sangla. little or no comfort will be fine....we are ready for that. And please suggest a good driver expert for that adverse conditions

Sad last two days as Rothang proves it´s name : ten dead and fifteen rescued with frostbite after trying to cross on foot. Really closed for a while now.
