Its been reported that its raining heavily in SHimla these days. Is it advisable then to visit Shimla. I am planning to visit Shimla for 4 days in July. I hope i am not stranded in the hotel complex. Please advise.

I visited in monsoon season a few years ago and although the rain was quite heavy at times there was enough break in rainfall to do things in and around Shimla.

go for it man. It'll be hit and miss. We were there in July 2005 for three days and only faced drizzle for half an hour at Kufri.
