hi friends...
this winter i want to go himachal. but i m traveling alone, plz suggest me rout and places, that i can cover much place and i want trekking also for a2 days.. i went Shimla last winter so,exclude that and the where i can enjoy fresh snow fall...
if any one wants to join me they can it will be my pleasure....i will start my journey according to ur suggestion...
plz give me fooding and lodging suggestion also....
my travel time is whole 10th of dec to 25th of dec....delhi will be the starting and ending point of my journey...

Weird topic, you can go anywhere in HP depending on the amount of days you can manage ! which i dont know.

Places and Routes someone else can help you with that... maybe a guidebook.. have a plan in our head and we can help you with practical knowledge if you want !

What is boring for you we dont know either ! If you want to see fresh snowfall, keep tab on the snow conditions in news.. and head out wheresoever they say it snowed.

please tell me the plan u have that will be better coz that is urs practical knowledge...

Do a little research, the forums are full of places to go . . . get a basic plan and then post queries, that way you will get real help!

That said, Dalhousie might be fun in winter . . .

I had been to Mcleodganj a few days back and it was amazing. Had done a 18Km trek to Triund. There are plenty of budget hotels in Mcleodganj...If you go to Bhakshunag which is 2KM from Mcleodganj you can find hotels as cheap as 80Rs per night.

Well even I am planning a trip to Himachal again in December but it depends on my boss granting me leave .

if you wanna visit manali, then don't stay in new manali..go for old manali..more scenic and peaceful..
as for hotels hptdc ones are quite good and generally within budget..
