Pangi Valley
There's PWD rest house at Kilar. Also at Sach Khas and Dharwas I believe.
There's a pump at Tandi Bridge. Thereafter not till Chamba town.
There are some good pics in mountaintrekker's blog. Click the first link (Churah valley).

I too want to go to Pangi valley in the last week of June via Pathankot, Chamba. I hope the Sach Pass opens up by that date.
Any information regarding food, accommodation and road condition will be highly appreciated. Wish to travel in own vehicle (Maruti Versa). Already been to Baralacha Pass in Versa and found it very comfortable(4 adults and 3 children). Hope the road is equally good if not better than Keylong Baralacha road.
with warm regards

High hope.
While it can be debated whether the term "good" can be applied to the Keylang-Leh road, certainly beyond Baralacha, it certainly cannot be to the Sach road. I personally wudn't want to do it in anything other than a SUV, but I believe in that for all unmetalled roads.
Take a look at mountaintrekker's blog, some good pics and info there:

I understand that this pass is best to cross after 1st July, so maybe you shud think about doing this trip in July.
Hi wanderer,
I agree with Dilliwala on the Chamba - Killar Road Via Scah Pass.
The best of the Road is unmetalled & remotely used. i wud recoomend that u attempt it with Car that a higher Ground Clearnce then Versa, ot u have to extra cautious with Versa. NO fuel Beyond Chamba, Unitl Kyelong in Lahul. Chances of Basic Accomdation are most likely in Killar. Sach Pass is also best attempted after Mid July.

Hi Everybody!
How's it that no body came to this forum for full one month. Seems that nobody is interested in going to remote areas of Himachal.
Any information about the condition of The road and opening of Sach pass.
Thanks again

Pangi/kilaar is 160 km from chamba and u'll have to go pangi via sach pass(4400m), from there killar is 43km and sach from chamba is 127km . Road from chamba to satrundi i.e 120km approx is well metalled now. There after the road is O.K , near pass the road is rough and depends on the weather, last year the bus passed through the sach pass, that was it, i think. Only SUV will do best. But yet i have not read any news regarding opening of the SACH PASS. And if you are coming via Pathankot then it is not necessary to come to chamba. You can go to sach by crossing Ravi river from Chodda dam, about 60 t 90 min can be saved.
yes there is road rather a trek from jammu to kilaar, although the road does not go to so high like sach pass, but i've heard that road is very rough , risky and long. Now if things have changed i dont know. The road is via Kishtwaar.

but road is not open for heavy vehicles. this year first time a 32 seater bus from chamba side crossed sach pass and to killar. till now there was transmit service from bagotu but now road is fully open. 32 seater bus is the biggest of all vehicles that crosed the pass.
back from Sach pass
Hi all,
This was my second attempt to Sach pass on bike and finally i succeeded (first - April 06). I went with my friend Yogesh Sarkar in the month of August.
Sach pass is really the toughest one to do on two wheels. Here is a travelogue.
