Pabbar valley to Sangla

Hello,

IŽd like to hear, if anybody has information on the trekking route from the Pabbar valley to the Baspa.
Experiences with the passes? glaciers?
Are there some pics available?

Would be great!

roads?

Obviously none did this trek?

Does anyone know about the road conditions in the Pabar valley? Is there a connection from Jubbal/Hatkoti to the NH22 near Rampur?

Thanks!

Exclamation What exactly??

Can you put your question more precisely?

Which of the passes [buran, gunas, rupin, nalgan etc] do you wish to cross?

There is a very roundabout road ...

Hatkoti, Rohru, Sungri, Taklesh, Nogli[on NH22] Rampur.

Only one or two buses per day... or you can hire a private vehicle

phacops don't never know what he want exactly...

There is also a narrow (good weather) road for jeeps from Nogli via Daranghati (2900m) to Mashnu and Sarahan with spectacular views...

Thanx, AvidTrekker,

what I´m looking for is either a straightforward trekking route from the Pabar valley to the Baspa - more specific to Urni, to save there tottering down AndreasW from his boozing party at Yulla Kanda or a jeepable road connection - the Rohru - Nogli - road isn´t shown in my maps - so thanx!

So first I thoght about the Buran Pass to Brua. (The Gunas to Sangla is similarly challenging?)
Then I found the Shatal Pass via the Andhra and Panvi stream to Wangtu.
Anyone done these treks? Are there long or steep glaciated sections? Where are the roadheads in the valley? Are guides easily to be found at Chirgaon or Rohal or Janglik?

Furthermore:
I know about the Piri Devi temple in Jubbal.
Which are other temples worth visiting? I read about a temple dedicated to Duryodhana but dont remember where its located.

Any helpful hint is appreciated.

phacops

Especially the roadheads are of interest: Deudi or Janglik? In wich valley is Kanol? Does anyone know more?
thanx
ph.

Buran Ghati

According ton Deepak Sanan [Kinnaur trekking book author] the easiest pass to cross is the Buran Ghati.

Shatul Ghati is also a short crossing. Do-able in 4 days.

The Buran or Gunas route is beautiful. Road upto Dhamwari then trek to Janglikh. Guides also available.
