offsite in shimla in november

Hi all,

We are planning a company offsite in Shimla in last week of november for a 2 night stay. we will be around 30 members. If anyone can help me with

1. best place to stay in and around Shimla Kufri/naldhera/mashorba/fagu

2. Best hotel to stay in these places

3. Will we get snow in Fagu / Kufri at that time (november end)

Keenly awaiting replies

Cheers...

You may think of Chail also. HPTDC has a good hotel there.

But sadly no snow in November......

The Palace Hotel in Chail is highly recommended. In winter you may also get discount.

Last week of December should be good for some snow, but November does not stand a chance, at least not till you reach Sangla/Chitkul (Kinnaur district) and that too, you need to be lucky ! Subject to weather god playing truant though!

Why don't you choose Manali side and go for a Rohtang visit?

no snow in shimla

The only issue with manali is, it requires lot of time to travel. As in, for a two day trip with 25-30 people, making them travel by road for 7-8 hours after a 2-3 hours of flight journey, kills one entire day on each side.

We thought we can stay in Kufri resorts where we can do a pony back to a snow point for a day, and spent one in resort for corporate activity or so.

But if there is absolutely no snow in Nov, i am wondering if this makes any sense...

Weather gods are gods, y'know - so you need to be lucky! What I wonder is whether all 30 people can be lucky at the same time, which means no snow - but you can still enjoy cool weather anyway!
